Danai Balatsoura
Danai Balatsoura is currently working as a trainee lawyer at the Zepos & Yannopoulos law firm, specializing in Corporate, M&A and IP law. She holds an LL.B. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has been balancing her legal career with vibrant extracurricular pursuits; she is a world champion in Gymnastics for All and has performed at major events all around the world. Now she also serves as a coach and choreographer.
While competing at an international level, Danai was awarded the Moving the Education Forward Scholarship for receiving top marks in the panhellenic exams.
Fluent in Greek, English, and French, Danai’s international experience includes an internship at the General Consulate of Greece in Boston, being the leader of the Greek delegation at the 2023 International Gymnastics Federation Gala in Amsterdam, and overseeing the production of global shows and events, such as America’s Got Talent.
Outside her professional and academic life, Danai finds pockets of inspiration in singing, dancing, collecting architectural magazines, exploring film photography, and immersing herself in music. Her time with children as a coach brings her true fulfillment and consistently fuels her life with creativity.
As she advances in the legal profession, her mission remains clear: to serve with dedication and passion.
Balancing her legal career with her artistic and gymnastics endeavors has been both a fulfilling challenge and a profound life lesson; it is the seemingly unrelated dots that create the bigger picture.

Ioanna Papageorgakopoulou
Ioanna Papageorgakopoulou is a legal trainee at the global law firm Allen Overy Shearman Sterling LLP (Frankfurt office), supporting the U.S. Corporate Finance group in advising underwriters and issuers on Regulation S/Rule 144A high‑yield and investment‑grade bond issuances. Prior to joining A&O Shearman, she worked as a legal trainee within the U.S. Capital Markets team of White & Case LLP (Frankfurt), advising underwriters and issuers on Reg S/Rule 144A high‑yield bond offerings, banks and high-tech luxury brands on reverse mergers and further potential M&A transactions.
Having spent a study‑abroad semester at Humboldt University of Berlin focusing on EU and German IP and antitrust law, Ioanna earned her LL.B. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with first-class honors (top 3.5%). Alongside her legal studies, she pursued a Minor in Psychology at The American College of Greece as a merit scholar of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and ACG, concentrating on social, cognitive, and behavioral psychology.
In 2021, she represented Athens Law School as a both‑side oralist in the 12th Leiden Sarin International Air Law Moot Court Competition, ranking 7th worldwide for the respondent’s oral pleadings. The same year, she initiated and co-founded Just in Case, a student‑led legal community offering free‑access conferences, debates, and workshops connecting students with the Greek and European legal markets in collaboration with academia and law firms. She served as its President.
Ioanna has interned at top-tier law firms in Athens, Brussels, Frankfurt, and Munich, including Clifford Chance, DLA Piper, Watson Farley & Williams, ANAGNOSTOPOULOS, Bernitsas Law, and POTAMITISVEKRIS, gaining experience across English, EU, German, and Greek corporate, banking, IP, and antitrust law as well as in white collar litigation. She is fluent in Greek, English, and German, with intermediate proficiency in French.
Beyond law, Ioanna has been playing the electric guitar and collecting vinyl records since childhood. After moving to Berlin, she began exploring the world of disc jockeying more deeply; her selections span 70s/80s Italian disco, funk/R&B/Motown, (Japanese) soul and neo‑soul, Garage/French house, new wave/alternative/progressive rock, and synth-pop. Her profound appreciation for the depth of aesthetics, music, cinema, literature, architecture, philosophy, and modern and contemporary art shapes both her worldview and her legal thinking.

Dimitris Papadimas
Dimitris Papadimas is a trainee lawyer at Ernst & Young (EY) in Greece, within the Banking, Finance and Transactions practice, with parallel involvement in Regulatory Compliance matters. His legal practice focuses on financial institutions, payment systems, regulatory frameworks, and emerging forms of financing, offering first-hand insight into how law shapes contemporary business and innovation.
He holds an LL.B. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with academic interests spanning international, public, commercial, and banking law. He has further refined his professional profile through specialised training in English Legal Terminology and Legal Communication and is fluent in Greek, English, and German.
Prior to joining EY, Dimitris interned at the Bank of Greece, contributing to supervisory work related to payment and electronic money institutions, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight. He has also worked at the Embassy of Greece in The Hague, where he was involved in diplomatic, consular, and international legal activities, gaining exposure to international institutions and cross-border legal frameworks.
In parallel with his legal practice, Dimitris is actively engaged in public discourse and cultural production. Through his involvement with LawPedia Greece, he hosted the Jurisprudence Podcast, curating and moderating legal and institutional conversations into accessible narratives. The podcast reached over 2K streams and was ranked as a top podcast for 100+ listeners (Spotify for Creators Wrapped 2023).
His artistic pursuits further shape his interdisciplinary profile. Beginning as a sketch artist, he later moved into acrylic painting on canvas, maintaining an ongoing visual art practice. Dimitris is also a recording artist, working on original music under the record label to which he is signed. His work moves fluidly between music, painting, and visual storytelling, rooted in memory, dreaming, and emotional intimacy. In 2025, he released his debut single καλοκαιρία /ka.lo.ceˈɾi.a/, the lead opening to his forthcoming debut EP, which has organically reached 5.6K+ streams and over 15.3K minutes listened, reflecting a growing audience drawn to shared inner dreamscapes.
Driven by the belief that regulatory systems, creative expression, and entrepreneurship are interdependent forces shaping contemporary culture, Dimitris operates at the intersection of law and art, where innovation and inspiration coexist.
